JCE is a peer-reviewed journal that presents current research in the field. Published by our partners at Ashland University, each quarterly issue delivers articles on best practices, comparative outcomes, and other research to keep you informed about what other educators are doing across the country.
CEA News & Notes
News & Notes is published three times annually to keep members informed about the business of CEA. It also includes important information and registration for the annual conference and other upcoming events members want so they can keep abreast of what is being offered.
Access to the Directory of Correctional Educators
With access to the directory, members can reach out to their peers, state directors of correctional education, and other resources. More than 1,500 industry educators and experts are included in the DCE.
Regional membership and newsletter
Your CEA membership also connects you to activities in your region and state. You’ll receive the newsletter for your region, and learn about local activities throughout the year.
State or Provincial charter membership
Your CEA membership includes membership in your state or provincial chapter. Each chapter provides additional opportunities for continued education, networking, and collaboration on new projects.

Voting privileges allow individual members the opportunity to make their voice heard on the CEA Executive Board. They allow members contribute to the direction and representation CEA provides our members by voting on officers for the organization, organization standards, and specific policies to grow and improve the organization.
